Cris Owens

Cornelius “Cris” Owens started his aviation career in October of 2000 after serving four years in the United States Marines Corps. Cris graduated from Spartan School of Aeronautics in 2002 with his CFR 14 FAA Part 65 Airframe & Powerplant Certificate and in 2005 gained his Inspection Authorization.
Cris has worked for airlines, aircraft manufacturers, and aviation government contractors on several programs. Cris embraces all aspects of aircraft maintenance including working as an administrator and going on the floor turning wrenches to show the young mechanics he still has the Midas Touch.
The highlight of Cris’s career has been writing and implementing several programs approved by the FAA. He is a jack of all trades in aircraft maintenance.
